Welcome to the New Year 2019, and to the new Prescott blog! I hope that the New Year will bring happiness and peace to all.
Don, my wise friend and co-creator of our play TAKEN AWAY recently said to me that he thought the essence of a happy life involves three things: someone to love; something to do; and something to look forward to.
Fortunately, those three dynamics are present in my life, and I hope yours, as well. Among my “things to look forward to”:
- Many of my friends have birthdays in January (what a great month!) … including me!
- Don and I are working on a new children's play about Mitzvah, the fabulous blind dog; rascally cat Daisy will be featured in the play, of course!
- Mitzvah's third children's book, Mazel Tov, Mitzvah!, should be published sometime in early 2019.
- There are other writing projects that I am looking forward to seeing come to fruition, but I'll save those for a future blog.
Regardless of when your birthday is (not everyone can have a birthday in January), may your special day in this new year of 2019 bring you joy. As I mentioned in my first blog, may you have the joy of something to look forward to.
