New year, new publication!
Writers are a notoriously superstitious lot. Many of us will not talk about a work in progress. Bad luck. Jinx. What if . . . ? So, with some degree of trepidation and after almost a month of procrastination, I have decided that my January blog will focus on the soon-to-be published third book in the Mitzvah series.
I don’t want to jinx it; the book has been delayed long enough as it is. However, it is in the final stages of being sent to the printer, so I think I can confidently say that soon Mazel Tov, Mitzvah! will soon be published. It will be available on Amazon, TaylorandSealePublishing.com, and at local Barnes and Noble bookstores. In the book, Mitzvah celebrates the day we became a family. Mitzvah and I had no way of knowing when her birthday was. (I’m a January birthday girl, and my first attempts at this month’s blog were on that theme). But we knew when we found each other: July 7th. Every July 7th we would remember that special day. This is how some families are created.
Accompanying this blog is the image from page 1 of the book. Many thanks to the wonderful illustrator, Pradip Chackraborty.
January 2020 is starting off nicely: my birthday—hurrah! Mitzvah’s third book, soon to be published—hurrah! And I hope all good things are coming your way.
